Assam Career - Pandu College Recruitment 2024

Applications are invited for recruitment of various technical positions or career in Pandu College Assam. Pandu College Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Project Associate-I on purely temporary basis for a research project funded by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) [EEQ/2023/001 120], Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India entitled “Assessment of impact of air pollutants on local air quality and human health over Guwahati.” This project is sanctioned for three year. This post is purely temporary and subject to availability of fund termination of the project, whichever is earlier. Appointment will be subjected to annual review for further extension that will be granted based on the research progress.

Qualifications:

For Junior Research Fellow: M.Sc. in Physics/Atmospheric Physics/Geography/Geo-informatics
or any other relevant stream with at least 55% marks (For SC/ST as per Govt. of India norms)

Or

For Project Associate-I: M.Sc. in Physics/Atmospheric Physics/Geography/Geo-informatics or
any other relevant stream with at least 55% marks (For SC/ST as per Govt. of India norms) along
with CSIR-UGC NET/including lectureship (NET- LS)/GATE/SLET.

Fellowship:

Rs. 25,000/- p.m. + HRA as applicable (For Junior Research Fellow)

Rs. 31,000/- pm + HRA as applicable (For Project Associate-I)

Eligible candidates must report at least 30 minutes before the schedule time of interview with all
the testimonials relates to education (class X onwards) and experience certificate (if applicable)
in original with an additional set of self-attested photocopies and two recent passport size
photographs during the interview.
