Applications are invited for recruitment of 61 vacant positions or career in AEGCL Assam. Assam Electricity Grid Corporation Limited (AEGCL) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Assistant Accounts Officer (AAO) (Class-III post).

Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs. 25000/- to 92000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 11000/-

Educational Qualification :

i. Bachelor Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce from a recognized University with minimum 55%
marks or its equivalent in B.Com in aggregate or 55% marks in Honors/Major subject (B.Com) or minimum 55% aggregate marks or its equivalent for Arts or Science graduate having Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subject or 55% marks or its equivalent in Mathematics / Statistics as Honors (BA/B.Sc).

ii. For departmental candidates and those belonging to the Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe
minimum qualification marks in a bachelor degree is 50%.

iii. Possess proficiency in computer application and having diploma certificate in computer
application with minimum duration of 3 (three) months.
Age Limit :

The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2024. The upper age limit is relaxable :

(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. up to 43 years.

(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. up to 41 years

(iii) For Ex-Servicemen, the maximum age shall be 50 (Fifty) years as on 01/01/2024 for Unreserved
category, relaxable further by 3 (Three) years for OBC/MOBC candidates and 5 (Five) years for
SC/ST candidates

(iv) Persons with benchmark disability (PWBD) 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and UR Category of candidates
