Majuli Island is the cultural capital or cultural city of Assam. There are many festivals celebrated in the river island Majuli in the different season of a year. Some of them are as follows:

1. Raas Leela Of Shri Krishna(Raas Utsav): It is the main and well known cultural festival of the Majuli Island. The Shri Krishna Raas Leela of the Majuli Island is World famous. It is celebrated in the month of November of the year. Generally, Raas Utsav is celebrated in the winter season of every year. 

2. Falgutsav: Locally it is known as "Fakua Utsav".It is also one of the main festivals of the people of the Majuli Island.

3. Ali Ai Ligang(Mising): It is the main festival of the tribal community people. The tribal community Mising People celebrated this festival every year.

4. Bisu(Deori): The Bisu is the main festival of the Deori community people. They celebrated this festival every year.

5. Barsik Bhaona Sabah: Generally it is celebrated in the village area. This festival is celebrated by the different community people who live in the village area. Basically, this festival is celebrated in the Naamghar of the villages of an area during the summer season.

6. Garakhia Sabah: It is also one of the festivals celebrated in the  Majuli Island.

7. Na Khowa: This festival is celebrated after the cutting of the paddy crops. It is celebrated in every house of the people of the Majuli Island. 

8. Nora Chinga(Mising): It is also the festival celebrated by the tribal community people of the Majuli Island. The festival is celebrated after the cutting of the paddy crops.

9. Deo Puja: It is one of the traditional festivals which is celebrated by every community people of the Majuli Island.

10. Magh Bihu(Bhogali Bihu): It is one of the main festivals of  Majuli Island people and also the national festival of the whole people of the Assam. It is also known as Bhogali Bihu. It is celebrated every year in the month of January.

11. Rangali Bihu(Bohag Bihu): It is one of the main festivals of  Majuli Island people and also the national festival of the whole people of the Assam. It is also known as Rangali Bihu. It is celebrated every year in the month of April.

12. Kati Bihu(Kangali Bihu):  It is one of the main festivals of  Majuli Island people and also the national festival of the whole people of the Assam. It is also known as Kangali Bihu. It is celebrated every year in the month of October.

13. Paal Nam: It is one of the main Satriya festivals of the Majuli Island. It is celebrated mainly in two Satras of the Majuli Island. These are- Sri Sri Auniati Satra and Sri Sri Dakhinpat Satra. It is celebrated in the month of December every year.

14. Janmashtami: Locally it is known as Shri Krishna Janma Tithi. It is celebrated in every Satras and every Naamghar of the villages in every year.

15. Diwali: Locally it is known as Dipawali. It is celebrated in every Satras and every Naamghar of the villages in every year. 

16. Shri Sankardeva's Death Anniversary: Locally it is known as Shri Sankardeva's Mrityu Tithi. It is celebrated in every Satras and every Naamghar of the villages in every year. 

17. Shri Madhavdev's Death Anniversary: Locally it is known as Shri Madhavdeva's Mrityu Tithi. It is celebrated in every Satras and every Naamghar of the villages in every year.

18. Shri Sankardeva's Birth Anniversary: Locally it is known as Shri Sankardeva's Janma Tithi. It is celebrated in every Satras and every Naamghar of the villages in every year. 

19. Po'rag(Mising): It is another festival of the tribal community people. The tribal community "Mising" People celebrated this festival every year.

20. Sawania Puja(Deori): The  Sawania Puja is another festival of the Deori community people. They celebrated this festival every year.
